Feldkommandantur 808 stationed at the Hotel Majestic, on the corner of avenues Nikis and Agias Sofias street, pobably Spring 1941. The same building was also housing Feldgendarmerie-Abt. 501, the much hated local military police detachment.
Now
The old hotel, was standing until 1978, when it received heavy damage from the earthquake of 20th June. It was demolished shortly after and was soon replaced by a “luxurius” much more massive construction, since it was situated in one of the most expensive and prestigious areas of the city.
